Vietnam Đồng
The Vietnamese dong fell for the first time in three days on speculation the central bank is allowing the currency to weaken to help exporters.

The currency fell 0.01 percent to 16,107 per dollar Friday, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

The State Bank of Vietnam set the reference rate for the dong at 15,959 per dollar Friday, compared with 15,956 Thursday, according to its website.

Banks are allowed to trade the currency up to 1 percent on either side of that rate.

Vietnam’s State Treasury is to sell VND1 trillion ($62 million) of five-year securities on April 25, according to the Hanoi Securities Trading Center, where the auction will take place.
