Fishing delight
The
Fiditour company has introduced a new tour to the province of Vinh Long
in the Mekong Delta, 140 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City.
At Vinh Sang tourism complex, visitors can don ba ba
(the traditional casual clothes of the southern Vietnamese) and try
their hand at catching fish, crabs and shellfish in a pond with a gau (a bucket with a long handle hung from a tripod).
Guests will also have the chance to savor pure ruou nep (sticky rice brew) and the cold water of the Co Chien river offers a great place to cool off and relax.
Other popular stops on this trip include the Sau Giao flower garden, the Muoi Day stilt-house and Hai Hoang’s ancient house.
Vinh
Long also boasts several breathtaking pagodas and communal houses, and
exciting activities like riding an African ostrich are also included.
The tour costs vary according to the number of visitors and tour days.
Back in time
The company also offers a fascinating tour to Can Tho, the Mekong Delta’s capital city.
On this trip, tourists will have the chance to visit My Khanh tourism village and learn about Vietnam’s historic feudal times.
Guests can dress up in period outfits while enjoying time-honored melodious music played on a gramophone.
Lunch and stops at traditional craft villages are also included.
Just
180 kilometers from HCMC, Can Tho boasts other popular tourist
attractions including local floating markets and beautiful fruit
orchards along the Hau river.
The tour costs vary according to the number of visitors.
